Bloombars This Friday!

Our first photography show featuring the work of Tracy Clayton, Pat Padua, Katy Ray and Matt Smith opens at Bloombars (3222 11th St NW) this Friday, October 24.

Note our slightly altered time: Friday runs 8 to 11 p.m. with various local acts playing on stage throughout the night. Saturday the venue is open for viewing from 4 to 11 p.m., with a Bloombars film screening of "So Goes the Nation" at 8 p.m. Sunday, roll up between noon and 4 p.m. for the last day of the show.

Remember that a mere $5 helps keeps the lights on in this volunteer-run space. There's no service at the venue, but we're right next door to Wonderland where you can get your booze on, as well as a ton of restaurants around the Columbia Heights neighborhood.
